From your library to your vault.

  1. Add what you want to keep.
Choose photos, videos or a supported chat export. Follow SafeCloud’s import instructions for the app you are importing from.
  2. Open the saved copy.
Check the photos, play the videos and open the conversation before changing the originals.
  3. Choose where the originals belong.
Importing saves a copy in SafeCloud. The original stays in Photos or your chat app until you remove it there.

Before deleting photos, check how iCloud Photos and Recently Deleted affect your copies.

If you just want to keep a few photos out of your main library, your iPhone already has a locked Hidden album. SafeCloud gives you a separate app for private media and saved conversations.

Our guide covers how to hide and lock photos on iPhone, starting with the built-in settings.
